Priorities

We are on a strict budget. We are on course to be debt-free in 2 years. I had $47 to spend at Walmart. The total came to $47.99. I started trying to figure out what to put back.
Lightening McQueen in Dinoco Blue-no
Metal die cast airplane-no
Blue Playdoh-no
Green Playdoh-no
Sillyputty-no
2 Ring pops-no
Diapers-no
Wipes-no
Toilet paper-no
Paper towels-no
Box of Kleenex-yes

I have 2 happy, playing boys using their sleeves right now.

Way to go Carla! Keep sticking to that budget. Sleeves are washable.

Just tie bibs around their faces.

They would use their sleeves even if there were tissues!

You could always try cloth diapers. Sounds crazy I know. My sister and her husband are way "green" In fact I would say they are a little obsessed. They will be using cloth diapers when they have children. They try to waste as LITTLE as POSSIBLE.

I am totally for helping the environment but I think I'll use regular diapers when I have children.

Love the "punch line." Debt-free in two years! THAT is wonderful! It makes pinching pennies so much more fun, doesn't it? When you are working toward such a wonderful goal. Good for you and your husband!

Thank you!
What are you doing up?

Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex...all pretty much the same thing when you're budget-crunching! :)

Okay, so paper towels and toilet paper are sort of separate...growing up though, we usually used toilet paper for Kleenex.
