Sized Up

For the youngest two boys I buy them an assortment of wind pants from Walmart for school. They call them slippery pants as they are awesome for sliding across the kitchen floor and sliding on one's backside down the stairs. But I digress.  I bought Tim size small 6-7.  I bought Nathan size medium 8-10. Totally easy. All was right with the world.  Until Tim tried them on and found them 3 inches too long.  I went back to the store and bought another pair of size small 6-7.  Same thing.  Size 6-7 fit Nathan who will be 9 years old next month. Back to Walmart.  I found one pair of size xsmall 4-5. Perfect.  Tim is happy. Nathan is happy. Mom is happy. All other consumers take heed.  There is some kind of slippery pants conspiracy going on.
