A lesson in humility is overdue with Nathan. When told he has nice hair, he runs fast, he colors well or he's a good boy Nafe says, "I know." A little smug, sweet pea. I told him to please say thank you instead of I know. He asked if I know is a bad word. Not exactly. A friend came over and gave Nathan a compliment. He answered, "Swank you. I know."

That's adorable! Sunshine doesn't take compliments well, either, but she's different. If her dad compliments her, she slaps him. I think she must embarass easily, but I'm SOOOO sick of explaining that it's not an appropriate response.
"Swanks." I think I'm going to steal that. ;)
Too funny!
(Now you say, "Thanks, I know!")
No, she'll say something else....huh Carla?
Eh? right?
