Crickets
Our van makes a noise.(It's a loose belt. I'm surprised you didn't know that.) The noise did not start after the van fire of July, but some time before that. I used to fix it by turning the radio up, but that is no longer an option. As I tool around town, our vehicle sounds just like the movie Attack of the Crickets. If there is such a movie, that is. I used to be totally humiliated by the noise. Now, people actually stop what they are doing to turn and stare as I drive by and I must say I am enjoying the attention. It's all about me.

Mine used to do that but only when I went through a puddle. I don't remember hearing that when I used your car on Friday, but then I had the radio turned up really loud...
Karli, whatchagottado is wave like the president's wife as you drive by the crowds. Believe me, it's a treat for all watching and hearing your fine automobile.
By the way, the engine on my Tempo of Doom sounds remarkably like a marble in a pop can. I feel your pain.
Wanna race?
Do you want my husband to work on it for you? He'll fix any car for a pizza. I'm not kidding. He'd be especially glad to help if you brought Josh along for his entertainment. : )
I'll accept that offer Erin! Tell him the exact problem is the serpintine belt's main pully wheel bearings are shot...so in other words it needs a new belt and wheel. Can he handle it? What does he like, Pepperoni, Sausage, or Canadian Bacon and Pineapple?
I'll wash all the windows and ArmorAll the wheels for pizza. When's the party??
I'll clean Richard and Erin's bathroom--let's all have a pizza party!!!
Really, Pat we must compare car troubles more often. Since we have the same car and all. I had this trouble last spring, except the stinkin' pulley broke right off and sent the belt a floppin'. Good thing I had had this happen before--yes another Dodge Gr. Caravan--will I never learn?
Karli, I would love to race...but the tranny went out last night. :(
Wow...I'll let Rich know what's going on. Kandi, do you need to come over, too?
Sorry about the Tempo of Doom, Kandi.
