Sarah had some big plans today. She had to get ready for a date with a friend. That involved changing her clothes, brushing her teeth, washing up,and getting her shoes and coat on. The pressure must have been intense. I told her she only had a couple more minutes. As she walked to the bathroom I heard her say, "Dammit! Dammit!" Patrick overheard her as well and asked "Who taught you that? Does Mommy say that?"

"Does Mommy say that?" Priceless. I also usually attribute the kid's badness to their mother's influence.
Advantage of a big family: my parents just attribute it to their older siblings.
(Unfortunately, they're usually right.)
Too bad she doesn't go to public school, then you always have someone to blame for the foul language that spouts out of your cherubs' mouths. But since she doesn't, must be you Karli, were you raised on a farm?
I was raised in the shadow of the Skyscraper of the Prairie in Bismarck, North Dakota. Ya Sure You Betcha. I am blaming the swearing on the neighbor kids.
oh, and the Daddy.
I DON'T swear, I promise!
