Birds of Prey

We have neighbor girls. They swear. They are also drawn to our house like magnets. They picked up Joshua for school one morning. I told them they could wait while we finished up breakfast. They stood outside and pressed their faces up to the windows, cupping their hands by their eyes to get the best view. We ate in captivity. Feeding time at the zoo. Last night, they rode their bikes over at 5:30pm wanting to play. We were just sitting down to dinner.(When do they eat?!) They rode their bikes in circles in front of our house, waving and smiling whenever they passed the windows. I hid behind Pat at the table and was hardly annoyed at all.

The title reminds me of The Far Side by Gary Larsen. The cartoon shows vultures sitting in a tree with sunglasses on. The caption reads Birds of prey know they're cool.
