When I was about four and my younger sister Sarah was two or three, I took a ballpoint pen and wrote "Ally" all over her room, up and down the walls as high as my wee little arm would reach.
My parents eventually noticed, as they are wont to do, and my mom sat me down for a talk. She asked me very patiently if I had written on Sarah's bedroom walls.
"No," I said, looking her in the eye.
"Do you know who did?" she asked.
"Sarah did," I responded.
"Sarah found a pen, figured out how to use it, learned how to spell, and having accomplished all of this, wrote YOUR NAME on HER WALLS?" My mother clarified.
I remember thinking to myself: this is so great; she just totally came up with the explanation all on her own! I didn't even have to think that hard!

>sigh< Ok, I admit it - I did it. I tried really hard to disguise my handwriting...
Eli did that when he was little, except he scratched it into the trim wood--oh and he spelled Tim, "E-L-I".
Kandi,
Go to your room and think about what you've done.
Have you talked to the Porters about this?
Yeah, really. LOTS of Tim's out there.
The interrogation continues...
Whatever. That's clearly Ti to the Mth power.
