Sarah's Life

There is so much my daughter wants to do. So much life to live and I want to encourage that! She came home last week to say, "Oh yeah, I tried out for the High School Choral concert and I got a part. Here is the practice schedule."

Yesterday she told me, "Mom, I am going to try out for student council again and I need help with the speech I need to give next Tuesday."

On top of that she is still doing Safety Patrol, practice is starting this Friday for the church spring play, she has a weeklong practice(next week)for The Wizard of Oz, and is starting to work on her car for the Awana Grand Prix.

It is a dizzying schedule for this mom but then I remember my longing as a little girl to GO FOR IT but was not encouraged to do so. I will tape all of the schedules to the wall, help write a speech, run some lines, pick her up after her practices and smile in encouragement at the girl that is GOING FOR IT!
