Brunch

I am so glad it was my son heading off to middle school today and not me. He was nervous about the cast and the crutches and finding a friendly face. I found out later he had lots of help, no homework and a friend in every class. The only downside seems to be lunch at 10:30am.

Isn't that CRAZY? Eli used to come home so hungry, he'd practically eat the front door.
Now in high school he has "C" lunch which means he goes to half of his class, then lunch, then the other half of class. Weird.

Thank you for reminding me of this. I need to see when my middle schooler's lunch is. Because the part about eating the door... every day.

Wow! I thought Isaiah's 11:20 lunch was sort of early. That's a very long time for a growing boy to go without some sort of something.

I'm hearing ya- Mikayla came home yesterday from RF middle school and she had lunch at 10:10am. That's about the time we woke up this summer for Pete's Sake!

It is crazy.

I am packing some snacks for Joshua when I pick him up from school.

What? Why in the world is it that early!? I can't for the life of me remember when my lunch was when I was in middle school. Does that mean I am old? ;)

Jana if you are not almost 44 than you are not old. :)

School starts at 7:30am. So many children, so little time to feed them.

Get out! Middle School starts at 7:30?? I think our high school might. But thank goodness our ms isn't until 8:00. (NOT a morning person!)

Crazy! It would be nice if the teachers would let them have a quick snack or water or juice in the afternoon to tide them over.

I start thinking abour breakfast around 10:30.
I don't answer the phone before 10:30.
I don't do much of anything before 10:30!
I am SO glad his day went well. I prayed for him all day.
