I am considering myself properly trained and conditioned for the race this Saturday. I ran 4 miles this morning. All done now. These are some things that have happened since I started training on June 22nd.
I almost hit a dog, bunny(ies)a deer(deer), a squirrel, a parked car(s)and a human being.
I wore my bike helmet backwards.(once)
I cried like a baby trying to bike up a hill.
I was run off the road by a car.
I began eating more(and more)and gained 6 pounds. All muscle of course.
