Joy and Pain
Joshua broke his tibia on Monday night. Where was I? Oh, like any good mother I was out getting a tattoo of course. His leg is too swollen to cast so we are hunkering in with movies, books, computer, naps and Wii. I set up the baby monitor(why do I still have it?)in his room and ours and I wanted to make sure it worked. I asked Joshua to give me a couple of minutes and then say goodnight to mom. He did more than that. He gave me 3 drug induced chorus' of Lollipop, Lollipop oh Lolli, Lolli, Lolli, Lollipop POP badoomboomboom. Joy in the chaos. Joy in the pain. Goodnight, Joshy.

You ARE a good mother and there is nothing you could have done to prevent this. That's why they call them "accidents". Don't beat yourself up.
I'm so glad to hear that your son has his mamma's sense of humor!
Give him a squeeze from the Smiths.
Now I have that song stuck in my head...
...that was me.
Hi Kelli,
A day without mom guilt is like a day without sunshine.
Josh will be fine. Mom will be fine. :)
What Kelli said.
I LOVE that he has a sense of humor even in pain. Just like his Mama, that boy.
