Ok Ok

It would seem that it is not just our family that realizes we have a trash van. Sarah walked a little friend home from school with her and we had an errand to run. As I packed up four by 40 + 1 she got into the van and said, "Wow, this van is a mess!! Who did this?" Sarah said, "We all did. Well, me, Josh, Nathan and Tims did it. Mom didn't do it."

Sounds like Sara's proud of the co-conspiracy! Nice of her to leave you out of it, too.

"Doin Mess" does bring out pride in some. :)

I think it's time for them to clean up after themselves....can't you just hear your mom's voice in your head? Well, mine would say..

"You made the mess, you clean it up."

She always ended up helping in the end, though. That's what moms do.

You forgot "You SHOULD..."

My NIECE did that to me. I was picking her and my nephew up - and had, just the week before, vacuumed out the van - when she commented as they loaded in, "Yea, our van is 'dirty,' too." (I almost bit my tongue right off.)

But my kids didn't jump right in to bail me out. Sarah gets points for that!

For part of my Muhda's Day present, my children cleaned out and vacuumed the van. Guess what? Now I can't find MY sunscreen, MY bug spray, MY sunglasses, MY spare pen... you get the idea.
