The last 27 minutes of my life have been spent hunting loveys. They are the little flannel squares that Timmers sleeps with. He has a couple and a decoy blankie for such a time as this. Nothing doin, Momma. He shrieked nonstop while I racked my brain and turned this house upside down. I even called a friend and jokingly asked her is she had the loveys. Answer Me! I decided to ask the Timstah. He shrugged his shoulders. I prayed and asked Nathan to help me. Toybox, dresser, under the crib, under the cushion of the rocking chair-SUCCESS!! My lambiepie sleeps.
Comfort objects are awesome until you lose one.

I think those are the ones I made for him -Maybe?
If so, I do have more of them made up and will give you some so you never lose them all....
Gotta have enough Loveys!
Especially Flannel Loveys!
They were polka dotted with all different colors?? I think you did! THANK YOU! My boy loves em so much!
Indeed! So glad you found his. My Bubby was 3 when he got this tiny monkey from a neighbor. He named him Diddy and they've remained best buds since (he'll be 12 in April!). He'd lose him atleast 2 times a day, but no shrieking-whew! I must've heard "Mom? Have you seen Diddy?" at least a million times, if not more. I could tell what he was going to ask before he finished saying "Mom?"
Bubby! Diddy! Too cute!
Yep, Those are the ones~
I named them "Baby Ragz"
I think his were primary colors- Bright Blue, Bright Red, Bright Yellow, ect. I have a set made up just like that in Primary Stars- I will have Jerry bring them to Pat at Awana on Wed.
Maybe you can wash them 50 times to make them look used.......
:)
HI there,
I've been lurking, but haven't posted in a while. I've been watching ebay to find a replacement lovey bear for my little one. The specific bear is one of those heads attached to a blankie. I've seen our exact bear go for $65.00!!!!! It makes me sick that people start the bids this high because they know some poor, desperate momma is going to pay it. YUCK!! Luckily, I won another one for $18.00.
Hi Trista! Thank you for the playful banter! :) Desperate moms seem to be over a barrel. I am glad you found a replacement that didn't cost $65!
My Chels was in the ER this weekend and was scheduled for surgery on a broken arm. She was unconsolable until I went home and got her Get-better Bear. They gotta have those comfort objects sometimes don't they?
Emily had a Ty soft ducky that she fell in love with as a babe. We stocked up and got 3 extras, thinking we were planning ahead for moments such as yours. Worked great until she learned there was more than one and started demanding she sleep with all 4 at once. Can't win. :)
Elise is starting to get really attached to a couple of things so this post totally resonated with me!
Hey Shauna,
Miss ya!
