I make scrambled eggs every morning. I had a double yolk yesterday. I think Caroline would be happy for me. I would take my basket of eggs to Oleson's Mercantile and maybe Nels would be there to buy them from me. I have a feeling that Harriet would put herself in charge of that and offer me less for the double yolks. No matter. Charles said that the men of Hansen's Mill would gladly buy them from me for more than Harriet offers. I love being Carla Ingalls.

My wounded girl has been watching Little House all day. This just cracked me up! Oh, ha ha!! Cracked eggs, oh my! I slay me!
Hope Chels is better. Youch. I grew up on the prairie of ND watching LHOTP. I dreamt of being an Ingalls girl.
I used to love that show.
I found your blog via Pat's Dave Ramsey blog. Small world!
Welcome scissorbill!! What does that name mean? Is that a Minot thing? ha
Carla, you are so great!
Right back atcha, Katie!
this was too cute...loved it, half-pint!
I always wanted to pull Nellie's hair.
...or push her down a hill in her wheelchair.
Geek.
I liked the one where the kid ate the worm...why do bad things always happen to poor blind mary?
My cartoon bubble has Laura pushing Nellie down an abandoned mine shaft...half pint rocks!
Trooper Sensitivity
How about some Super Glue in Nellie's bow?
The wheelchair thing...wasn't that in Heidi? Hmmm?? Or did I miss an episode? Hard to believe that could be possible.
Season 3 on DVD. The episode in question is called Bunny. Nellie falls off Laura's horse and pretends she is paralyzed. Laura finds out and fixes her wagon. You may borrow my boxed set.
I am a geek.
You're such a good friend Nellie....I mean Carla! My favorite one as well! I also love the one when Gwen sells her hair to buy her mom a dress-tears!

Sorry Reegz. I'm a geek.
Ha Ha! You are so right! I knew that didn't sound right! You ARE a geek!
But you know what I read or saw about Nellie Olson (Oleson?) the actress? I think I was in a Dr.'s office for something and saw it on a lame talk show or in a magazine. She was being abused, I think it was on the set of the show, and I think in some way Charles (Mr. Ingalls, right?) had something to do with helping her. (Like my fine detail... I think... maybe.... hmmm... something like...)
(ok, I can't remember exactly!)
Someone google it:)
She did have a rotten character, and played it very well.
Ooooh, scandal on the set!! I had not heard of that.
