We drove and drove and drove some more. The cherubs didn't know why. We wanted to surprise them. We found the spot and walked and walked and walked some more. There it was. A home was being built for a family we didn't know. A family touched by tragedy. I was overcome with all of the volunteers building this house out of love and compassion. An army of angels. My children whined and complained and were mad because we weren't on a shopping spree for their wants.
Makeover Home Edition has a redeeming quality in a vast sea of television garbage. Watch for yourself.

LOVE that show. Though it does always make me sappy and emotional at the end (yeah, doesn't take much). ;-)
Oh, I am a puddle right with ya, V.
Nothin' like crying when you see the faces after you hear "Move That Bus!"
Every time.
