Class

Something about holidays brings out the teacher in me. Mrs. Stream made her lesson plans. We would color turkeys and then write on the turkey feathers what we were thankful to God for. I had a bunch of other goofy turkey faces to color and a Thanksgiving Day word find. I also dug out the real story of Squanto. My class ranged in age from 22 months to 38 years. Joshua was mad that we got him off the computer for this. He wrote that he was thankful for the computer, scribbled on his turkey and asked if he could get back on the computer. Timothy chewed up a black crayon and looked like he was missing some teeth. He colored his highchair tray when he was finished with the turkey. Nathan destroyed everything placed in front of him. My two star pupils, Sarah and her Daddy colored carefully and made small talk, they shared their crayons and put some thought into what they were thankful to God for. They each got an A++. The word find was too hard, nobody wanted to be read to and I put myself in time out. Happy Turkey Day!

Looking back on yesterday this way now makes it funny. I knew you'd be able to summarize it lightly some how.
