Chelsea

My heart is heavy this morning. I found out yesterday from the bigs that a kindergarten girl from their school passed away on Sunday night. She was taking a bath and a hair dryer fell into the tub. I can't stop thinking of the pain this family is going through right now. They need our prayers. Please pray for the Helland family today.

I can't even imagine their pain. But I do appreciate the reminder about how incredibly careful we all need to be!

I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh my gosh. How absolutely heart-wrenching. I can't fathom what the family must be going through right now. They'll definitely be in my prayers.

Dear Lord. Talk about putting everything in perspective. How do you move on from that? Please let us all know if there's anything we in the blogosphere can do for them aside from the prayers.

How horrible.

For this exact reason I have not owned a hair dryer until recently. When I bought it a couple weeks ago, I decided to store it on the top shelf of my bedroom closet where my son can't reach it. I try to be so careful.

And then two days ago my son (he's almost 3) took a pair of headphones and went in the other room. After a minute, I went to check on him and found him trying to plug the headphones into the electrical outlet!

Dear God, you can never be careful enough.

My condolences to this family. Such heartbreak.

Wow, I will definitely be keeping this family in prayer...and this is such a wake up call for me. I have a hair dryer in my bathroom that my kids will take out and play around with...I never even thought about them plugging it in and getting near water, but now...wow......

This poor family. Oh the ache they must feel.
So odd, just last week I was talking to my kids about not having hair dryers/curling irons near water, and what could happen if they were taking a bath...Oh it almost made me sick inside then, and again now reading your post. God, comfort this sweet family.

I want to hug all of you!! There has been an outpouring from the school and the community. Class after class is writing letters and cards to this hurting family.
