For The Love of Stuff
I felt brave last Friday and took all 4 chillers with me to the yard sales. We were wandering through someone's junk and I noticed nothing was under $4.00. I thought to myself that she must really love her stuff because it wasn't going anywhere! I had to laugh when I read the poster she had hung up. It described the big auction they were holding for the rest of the junk, the bidding would start at $100 and to see Janet if you had any questions. I drove by today and noticed her garage crammed full of all the stuff she loves so much.

Hahahaha. OOOPS! Poor lady. I would say that yard-saling is not her forte.
This is hilarious. I know there are a few gems out there worth snooping around for but the biggest turn for me about garage sales is the high price that people attach to some things - I am turned off by the presumptions behind garage sale pricing tactics I guess.
I agree with you Babe, everything should be price to sell right away, not to make a profit for the seller.
Ok, I am reaching the word limit where I need to post on my own blog. Sorry.
Love ya!
There are yard sale rules you know. I thought they were universal. Weird.
Hilarious!
The last yard sale I had ended after an hour with an "EVERYTHING FREE" sign because I felt so guilty taking people's money for crap I didn't even want.
And she'll wonder why she didn't make a thousand dollars like she thought she would.
What's that saying... you can't take it with you!
