One

Hard to believe that Timmers will be one this weekend! I was asked what we were doing for his birthday party. To be honest, I was thinking chocolate cupcakes, a gift or two and a nap. WHOOO HOOO! Party time! It would be a far cry from Joshua's 1st-family from around the cities, tons of presents, brunch and chocolate cake. I have completely downsized the whole celebration. What does a one year old care about presents anyway? I was thinking of wrapping up something practical, something that would acknowledge growth and change. What says that better than a gallon of whole milk?

I can't believe it's been a year since we saw that little punkin' come into the world. When can we do it again?

One year!
We are going to a birthday party for a one-year old next week. It's in Shakopee. The grandparents rented the party room at a grown-up restaurant. I guess I should bring a gift but something tells me a gallon of milk won't go over very well.

Katie!! Nice to see you back online! :)
Erin, one year olds seem to like Fisher-Price. Go figure.

My one year olds liked empty boxes the best. Wrap one up nicely to please the parents, leave it empty to please the child.
