Dream
Patrick told me he thought our lives looked a lot like our family in a car sinking in the water. We are sucking air at the top of the car. I said no to that. I envision us in a rowboat on the high seas. With Mommy at the helm I bark out orders, "Patrick, wake up and start rowing! Joshua, keep bailing! Sarah, get your hands off the last Cheese Nip! Nathan, stop licking your brother! Timothy, simmer down!" Then we sing, "Row, Row, Row your boat gently with The Streams, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream."
