Imagine my suprise when I couldn't think of something to make the kidlings for lunch. My brain registered a complete blank. I know it's not too hard to make PB & J but after 5 days, how bout a change?? The other standby came to mind so I made that. Mac and cheese. Just so my children will get their daily allowance of vitamins and minerals they ate the rest of the Easter Peeps for dessert.
One of the more desperate lunches I have made was for Joshua. I was pregnant with Sarah(cherub #2)I was due in August. UGH! We did not have central air and I could usually be found sitting on the cold cement laundry room floor, sobbing. I grabbed whatever I could find in the cupboard and tossed it to my son. A bag of cheese popcorn and some red licorice.

Carla--
I love your blurbs. They make me smile and laugh inside and remind me that I'm not alone. Thanks for your honest (and humorous) expression of what it's like to be a mommy.
