Surfs Up

I am still on the couch most of the day nursing. Nathan and Sarah have been able to make their own fun. Yesterday they put their swimming suits on. A huge blue sleeping bag was the pool and our brown carpet was the hot, hot sand. They layed out on their Barney towels placed in the sun. Don't forget the lotion and sandals! They jumped off of the couch into the pool and splashed around. I was designated The Nursing Lifeguard and at appropriate times I told them to slow down, be careful and find their swim buddy. Sarah asked me if I would get my swimsuit on too. The game ground to a screeching halt. Yegads girl, have you not seen enough of my squishiness? I dug out some shorts and we picnicked on the sand. Ah...summer.
