Breakthrough
Sarah faces a dilemma everyday...to nap or not to nap. If she has not napped she is pleasant and fun to hang with until around 6pm. Then the whole family rides a fast train to EmotionLand. Sarah screams, whines, yells, and cries her way to bedtime. (Bedtime being 6:01pm) The payoff is that she goes right to sleep. If she has napped, then Mommy plans on the big TO DO that is in store. "Those aren't the jammies I want, I need water, I forgot my love rags downstairs, I don't want to brush my teeth, read 2 books tonight, I want to wear socks...." She has been known to pop out of bed like toast at least once. Yesterday, while she emoted all over the livingroom floor I calmly asked her what was wrong. After what seemed like hours of sobbing she said "I'm tired." I escorted my 5 year old teenager to bed.
