Whodunnit?
There is a mystery to be solved in the Stream house. Who keeps using a scissor to cut slits in the toothpaste tube? This was brought to my attention a couple of weeks ago as the two eldest Stream children were brushing. It is their kids tube of toothpaste that has sprung the leak and comes out both ends. I am not too concerned because if they would like their little hands covered with toothpaste everytime they brush, so be it. (Natural consequences) Joshua and Sarah have both denied involvement at this point. Sarah has implicated her brother Nathan, but since he cannot even reach the brushes or paste I am leaving him out of the line up. In the lining up of the prime suspects, I simply said to them, "Whoever is doing this, please STOP." Yeah, that oughta work for a couple of minutes.

I wonder what they'd say if you asked a hypothetical question? Example:"Now, I wonder why someone would want to slit the toothpaste tube?" Asked in a very innocent manner my four-year-old would still fall for the set-up. Sarah and Josh may have outsmarted that trick already. Just wondering if the culprit would answer. Knowing the Stream children as I do, through the blog, I'm sure there's a very logical reason for the toothpaste tube slit. You, Carla, just need to be a bit more open-minded. :)
