Happy Day

Joshua came home from school yesterday, smiling, laughing..happy!! It was the first day since school started that he wasn't called names, pushed to the ground, or had his writing utensils stolen by his neighbor. In fact, his neighbor gave them all back! I asked him if we could get his homework done right away and he was agreeable and we dove right in! I know not every day will be perfect, but it was nice to savor it with him and thank God that my prayers were answered. I pray for him everyday, all day that God go with him from class to class and that Joshua's rough start will smooth out. We are still working on Joshua sticking up for himself! Telling others to stop it, leave me alone, don't treat me like that! He says he doesn't want to get in trouble. He just graduated to red belt in karate, and I say use it or lose it, boy!
