Bakin

Sarah and I usually bake chocolate chip cookies every Sunday. She doesn't stay through the entire process only because there are eggs to save. When I need 1 egg for the recipe, she gets the dozen and then picks out 2 eggs to save from scrambling. She calls them her Precious Chicken Baby Eggs. She gets 2 Tupperware bowls and 2 washcloths and makes little nests for her baby eggs. They are placed back in the fridge after giving Mommy the following instructions, "Don't eat these!!" Todays babies are named Treasure and Angel and they are now tucked in. I used to let her play with the eggs around the house until 2 broke on her bedroom carpet. The stain did eventually come out. SarahMotherhen checks her babies periodically to fuss with their covers and talk love to them. The only other contribution she makes to our bakin Sunday is to continually ask, "Can I lick this?"
