Reunited

I guess I never did tell you how the getting together of the sisters came about. I started having dreams about my older sister and my mom. In them they were both standing and smiling at me and motioning me to come with them. I had the same dream for two nights.
Patrick got ready to take Sarah to a softball tournament one Saturday and I told him, "They are going to be there. Look for them." I headed to Nathan's soccer game and received a text from Patrick. "They're here!" it said. I prayed he would go talk to them and he did! He started catching up a bit, introduced Sarah to her cousin that is the same age and plays softball and my older sister Mona handed Patrick her card. She wanted me to call her so I did. We talked for 45 min. Then we met. Wow.
I called my younger sister not long after that and then drove to see her. The 3 girls got together for Christmas and Timmer's 6th birthday. We call, text or email all the time. :)
God is restoring to me the years that the locusts have eaten and I can only soak it all in and praise Him for His timing!!

Hallelujah! God is so mericful. I have not seen my own sister for many, many years so this blog gives me much hope! And, recently I have reconnected with my youngest nephew who is 32. It had been many years as well that I had no contact with him. But as you say God is restoring those years and I am blessed! God is good. Thanks for this encouraging and uplifting blog!

Carla, that is WONDERFUL news! I too am praying for restoration of family relationships...my family has already seen some of them restored (after 25 years!) but there is still so much hurt and bitterness and anger in the family. Sometimes, it seems impossible, but that word isn't in God's vocabulary so I know that all things are possible. Reading this gives me such renewed hope!
