Drugs

Awhile ago my family was running out of patience. I seemed to be on a rampage for a couple of weeks every month and they didn't quite know what to do with me. I didn't quite know what to do with me either. I tried everything I could think of but realized that nothing seemed to help. When Sarah said to me, "Why are you so crabby ALL THE TIME??!!" I knew it was time to get a little more serious.

I think it is safe to tell you that I have been on Zoloft for 2 1/2 months now. It is to help Carla get through the crazies. Whether it helps remains to be seen at this point, but I haven't felt the urge to strangle anyone with my bare hands in weeks. That must count for something.

Good for you! Life is too short to be crazy (or depressed) all the time. While I personally don't have experience in this area, I am close to some people who have. Their recommended 'drug' has helped immensely and life makes sense now. - carole

Thank you, Carole.

It was after so much thought and hesitating on my part. I wasn't sure I wanted to go in that direction but my family deserves better.

I think you even like Griffen more.

No she doesn't. (just kidding of course.)

If I do like Griffen more I consider that an unfortunate side effect.

Yay! It's a good thing. 'Cuz if Momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy.
And, Pat, no amount of pharmaceuticals would make Griffen likeable.

I have been on anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications since I was eighteen and got off street drugs. It's a good thing. I wasn't helped by Zoloft, personally, Prozac is what I am on, but I am glad it's working for you. :)

Carla, Exactly! I think Peter was, hm, 9, when Mark made a comment to him that sometimes there were just certain times, maybe of a month, that you just didn't push it with Mom. We'll have to talk. You around this week? I sort of am the next 3 days. Been thinking of you anyway.
