Questioning Betrayal

There are times I glance at myself in the mirror and wonder what happened? Who is that older chick? What is up with the gray hairs, the age spots, the puffy eyelids, the frown lines and the jowls that are coming along so nicely? Shall I contemplate taking drastic measures? Good grief I do not look like I feel. I feel 29. I am not. I am ok with aging. Really I am. Wishing it started feet first.

So not fishing for comments about how I may or may not look to you. We are not in 7th grade.

"I am so fat."
"No, you're not!!"

Just feeling the number 46 looming on the horizon and watching things happen I don't seem to have any control over. I am aging. Sigh.

I know how you meant it, Mr. Stream. :)

TISF!

On this unbeauty of aging subject. Did you know botox is not just for ridding of wrinkles and such? I've heard (and maybe not necessarily in a discussion with my own Dr. or anything) that it can be effective to reduce overactive sweat glands in some peri-menopausal women. Not that I would need to know. Nor to suggest that you would need to know either.

gain 50 or 60 pounds and watch those wrinkles disappear.
