Hope

It's hard to be a mom. Sometimes it is a thankless job and the monotony gets to me and I wonder is anything I am saying making it into that kid head or into that little heart? Is it in one ear and out the other? Are you listening? Am I talking to hear myself talk? Answer me!

One day last week I witnessed three actions of my eldest son Joshua that convinced me that he is listening. He found an Ipod Touch on the ground outside school. He walked to the office and turned it in. He told me he wanted it but it wasn't his to have. He came home from school and started in on the shoveling without me having to start in on him to shovel. After he got paid for babysitting he handed $2 to his sister for helping him out with the little boys.

Take heart, Mommies.

Awesome, Carla.

If Josh is still on.... please give yourself a pat on the back and then would you please go give your Mom a big hug and a kiss for raising you so well?
