This is Josh.
For my final Spanish report to end the 1st trimester, I had to give a power point on myself in Spanish. I was to my final section and I was supposed to say "yo soy alto trece" which means I am a tall 13 year old. In my rush to finish I said "yo soy alto tres" which means I am a tall 3 year old. That's how I ended my first trimester in Spanish. Got an A-. Still happy about that.

Great Josh! A- is very good!
Love ya! Noni
This is hilarious! (in a good way, of course) I can't wait till Peter gets home so I can show him. He's taking Spanish too.
If it makes you feel any better, Peter's friend who takes French asked him in French if he was pregnant. Of course Peter did not know what he said. He asked his friend what he should answer, and the good friend said he should reply "yes." So he did.
Isn't middle school boy humor the best?
I'd be happy with the A- also.
You would be at tall three-year-old. Nice job you giant toddler, I love you.
I like this guy...request more appearances, please!
Karla with a K,
Funny story. There's a similar problem with Spanish translation. If you are embarrassed, you don't want to say "Estoy embarazada", 'cause that means "I'm pregnant".
Josh, take note. :)
And great job on the A-!!!
Karla,
Joshua and I just had a good laugh over Peter and his pregnant question.
:)
I'm glad. The funnier thing is he told me I had it wrong. His friend takes Spanish also, and said it to him in Spanish, but he still didn't know what it meant. When his friend told him to say "yes", he thought he was trying to trick him into saying "no". So he just said "yes".
Glad Josh liked it. Peter got a good laugh at Josh's story too.
