Sleep Tight
Tims and his parents have now entered The Nightmare Zone. It is the zone where said child wakes up crying and needing his parents comfort from some nightmare. This morning at 4:57am, Tims stated that a bear with a pigs head and a missing eye popped up out of nowhere. I sent him back to bed with a prayer, a stuffed animal, his blankie, and a gun to shoot the pigheaded bear's other eye out. I wish that had been the end of it. The boy got up continually and I kept putting him back in bed until 5:27am which is when Patrick took over and I tried to get another 33 minutes of sleep. The pigheaded bear is dead meat tonight. I will shoot him myself.

He started early. The first time I put him back in bed was around 3:00 a.m.
Ah. Correction. You know how I love that.
Yes. I know. I love you more though!
Good news. Shooting a pig-headed bear will get you on the front page of the newspaper. You might even get on Good Morning America - you'll be awake anyway.

Oooh. Playful banter on national tv!!
How to change the subject from pig headed bears to abortion? Hmmmmm
I love you, Patrick.
Carla, I love that! "How to change the subject from pig headed bears to abortion?"
IS this what the pig headed bear with no eye looked like?

If so, I can totally, totally understand why he was afraid. lol
Oh my stars, Bethany!!
That is hilarious! And very scary.
Sunshine Pighead Bear. Love it.
There is absolutely no advice here in the playful banter section. I am surprised and disappointed.
Hint: Don't give him the stuffed animal that's a one-eyed pigheaded bear.
I hid the advice in the post cause I am clever that way.
A Man-Headed Man?
Cool.
Carla - I'm suspect that Tims has been looking over your shoulder at some of the recent Alan Grayson posts on Jill Stanek's?
That would explain it.
Word: dicenser
Well that does clear things right up, Chris. Thanks!! :)
".... his blankie and a gun..."
That's hilarious!
Ok, I just stumbled upon this post after a long day out and I need sleep, BUT... I laughed my head off. Woke up my eldest child by laughing too loudly, picturing this scene.
Thought you'd appreciate knowing that at least one other person lost a little sleep because of Tim's pigheaded bear. :D
