Training
I wish I could say I am enjoying training for the triathlon. I am not. It is hard, hard, hard work and I try to avoid that whenever I can. It is usually too hot or too rainy or too early and all that really motivates me to keep going at this point is a cup of coffee when I get home. This morning the blister the size of a quarter on my foot made precious little difference when compared to the aching back, neck and calves. Right now I am sipping coffee while I blog and checking RUN off my list of things to do today. At least that feels pretty good.

I never quite got to the "It feels so good to run" stage of running. To me it felt good to be done...and then nap.
Go Carla. I think the discipline alone to press on demands applause!!!!!!! Go girl!
I admire your committment! I am trying to ride my bicycle more for exercise. Running is out of the question due to problems with my feet, ankles, knees and hips! When I start giving myself the "try" talk, my inner voice turns into Yoda. "There is no try, only do."
There are many days when I wish Yoda would jump in the lake!
Keep it up!

Carla, is this your 2nd or 3rd triathalon?
I'm in awe of you.
I've been volunteering at our church office a few hours the last few weeks. And you just made me feel lazy! Thanks for that. (you know I'm kidding.) I am in awe though.
Aw. Thank you so much, ladies!
This is my 2nd triathlon.
