Yesterday the cherubs and I went to The New Library. I helped Joshua and Sarah get their new library cards and then mine was scanned to see if it still worked. How fun that the helpful worker told me I owed $8 in late fees from 2006. I told her, "No, I paid the $8 and haven't come back. Until now." She had a pow wow with the manager and then told me that all was forgiven and I could go play nicely with the books. Looks to me like the old library in a new location.

same people, same library.
I'm sorry. I was hoping I would be able to go back, but no. Not going back.
I sent J and S there today on their bikes. They can go. I'll pass.
Hey,
I posted as Anonymous on my own blog!
What am I trying to pull?
What's wrong with the library peeps? Are they real bee-atches?
Yeah...I'm with Kandi. Am I missing something here?
They are certainly not the friendliest group. :(
And would you seriously say that you want $8 from four years ago that was already paid?? All in front of a crowd of library patrons? Sheesh.
These are the people who didn't hire me because I went to see the PRESIDENT instead of going to the interview. And I even called them to reschedule, but nobody answered the phone.
Bet if I was going to see Obama, they would have come to my house for the interview. Just sayin'.
OOOH! And Kristi gets the dig!
I think Erin and I should visit this place. Just to see what it's like. Because we don't live in a small(er) town with small town crap.
I live in a small town (with small town crap.) But I like our library and the workers. I spent many years when my biggers were littler being embarrassed by the shout whispering and little people antics. I was always frazzled. But the workers were always nice to us. They even gave me amnesty on a whole bunch of really way over due books once.
Wow Kristi. I bet they would have wanted to go to your house if it was Obama. They really lost out.
(:snort: word ver - not joking - is reneu. It just didn't know how to spell it correctly.)
