Plague of Plagues

Last night I was parked at the computer screen and heard an attempt by Griffen to meow. Muffled and mispronounced as it was I knew the cat wanted my attention.(It sounded more like a mooo.)I turned around and beheld the baby mouse in his jaws. My husband took care of it. Not 15 minutes later I heard a scurrying, a squeaking and another baby mouse was being played with to the death. Thank you, Patrick. I was reading in bed when the trap went off in the kitchen. It was Mom Mouse this time. I love you, Patrick. Before all of this action my husband had killed another red squirrel. 3 down and 1 to go. I have come down with a case of the heebie-jeebies and am looking up what comes next in The Bible.

I had mice in my last apartment. I feel your heebie-jeebies.

I hope it's frogs, I like frogs.

Fingers crossed for boils. I don't like frogs.

I hadn't meant to laugh, but my friend was renting a house once and told me how a mouse tumbled out when she had poured a bowl of cereal one morning.

And last week at my house, it was a breezy night and I was painting Bible camp decorations around midnight in my living room. I heard this plaque we have on the front of our house sort of scraping against the side in the breeze. But when I was looking out front the next morning to see the plaque, I remembered that I moved the plaque to the back of the house last year. I think it's time to put out the mouse traps. I don't know why I'm not more heebie-jeebied by this. I think I'm trying not to think about what it could be.

Ok. I read up on boils. No thank you.

Fingers crossed for fire raining down from the sky.

Yay Griff! Mommy is so proud of you.
