Sarah had homework this weekend, which is rare. I thought I wouldn't bother Daddy so Sarah and I tackled it together. I read the instructions.
On the grid below make a sketch that shows how the stove, sink and refrigerator are arranged in your kitchen. Your sketch should show a birds-eye view of these 3 appliances.(including the countertops)
My brain stuttered. Bird? What bird? What kind of bird? What direction is this bird flying? Is it big? Is it small? By the time I realized that I WAS THE BIRD and flapped around the kitchen awhile, Sarah and her Daddy had finished the assignment.

Good thing Pat and Sarah could dig their claws into that assignment. I guess you just decided to wing it.
ps If my kid had to draw that, it would probably take all night to get the detail of all the "stuff" that's on my counter tops. Unfortunately.
