I stopped by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's office yesterday in Woodbury, MN. She was in Washington, D.C. doing what she does best. Fighting for us. I took her card and also asked how I can help. Oh, and I picked up a copy of this. Time to brush up a bit on freedom.

Article I, Section 10, Subdivision 3 provides that "no State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage." You call that freedom?
Well if you don't weigh a ton, I guess you're good.
An idea just popped in my mind...maybe there should be a "constitution study" (like a bible study). I know my brain has a lot of cobwebs and flatout missing pieces from my civics and high schoolgovernment classes. (Also I know that there is a free app of the constituion at the itunes store.)

You know how you can really impress people? Tell them you can name all of the Amendments to the Constitution in numerical order. Then just count from I to XXVII.
P.S. Under the XVIII-th Amendment, "tonnage" is defined as any woman weighing more than 125 pounds.
