Mixing It Up

I signed up to be a Playdoh helper for Nathan's kindergarten class. That means I need to whip up a batch of the stuff and send it in sometime this month. I emailed the teacher for her recipe and she sent it along and also a short note. It said that Carter was having a great day and she thinks that he is such a great kiddo! I am so glad! I wonder how Nathan is doing?

You are welcome, Jane. :)
Thank your two Marine boys for their sacrifice, please.

My o' my! I wonder if Carter's Mom knows how Nathan is doing.

Too funny.

Janet,
I should give Carter's mommy a call!
Good idea!

Uhhhhhh... have you been in for any parent-teacher interactions yet? Unless she was writing two notes to two moms relaying the same information at the same time and she actually just put the wrong note in the wrong envelope, I can understand it. Otherwise, its seems unjustifiable to me.

Maybe you should make yourself one of those photo buttons that parents wear of their athlete kids, but instead, put your picture and name on it and Nathan can wear it everyday.

I emailed her later and asked if she meant Nathan. :) She emailed back and said she thought "Nathan" as she typed "Carter."

Do they look alike?

Who am I to laugh? I messed up an acquaintance's baby's name, and passed on the mistake to my husband. And the mom walked by our house with her baby and poor Mark used the wrong name I had mentioned. Luckily my daughter discreetly said to me, "Mom! That's not Maeve. It's Brooke."

Oops. So I laugh at your teacher and laugh harder at myself.

(The worst is when I call my youngest son by the dog's name. She's a girl.)

Janet,
I don't know. I am sure she is completely outnumbered though!! :)
Hard to keep track.

Karla,
LOL
If I can't remember a baby's name I say "sweetie." I have called all of my children Griffen(the cat)at one time or another.

Carla,
I could never remember all those names. If i were a teacher I'd have to put a name placard on each desk. :~l
