I am still driving Joshua to middle school everyday. The cast is off but he has his crutches and a walking boot. We usually have some pretty good talks in the morning. Some of the questions I don't have the answers for...yet.
"Why did people kill Jews?"
"If you get cancer does it help to have a lot of money?"
"Why do kids tease other kids?"
"Why don't I have a girlfriend?"

I'm sure you answered them wonderfully! For question four I'd suggest--"because you're a very sensible young man."
Your son is going to turn into a human rights activist (and a teenager)!
I can see that as his future...
:D
I think Vannah may be on to something.
Josh has a big heart. :)
Whenever we see a high school couple walking along holding hands I tell Joshua to yell out the window, "What are your grades like?"
He knows what I'm talking about.
School first, girls as friends second.

That son of yours is a wonder. It's great when they're little and lisping but it's also great when they're growing up and you can witness such wonderful things come out of their heads. You have planted a good seed in his heart.
