Three to Be You and Me

How many times can I post on 3 year olds and their rebellion?? I think 4 at least. One more time. Tims is 3 1/2. The 1/2 is very important as I know 4 is coming and we will enter a new PHASE.

Had a family reunion on Saturday. Tims missed his nap. I knew what was coming. I have been here before. I told him it was going to be time to go soon and the whining began. There is no reasoning with this one. Daddy said it was time to go and the screaming, running and flailing began. I scooped him up said a quick goodbye to all relatives and held on tight to the writhing bundle of screaming psychosis that is my youngest.

At Vacation Bible School yesterday he flipped when I brought him to his class. He flipped when I came to get him. He wanted his neckwis. "My neckwis!! Where my neckwis??!!" (Note to parents-neckwis's go home on Thursday)See second paragraph as it describes me AGAIN getting to the van.

I'm tired.

If you are tempted to write, "Wait until they are teenagers." I can tell you this-I love teenagers. I taught middle school. I can hardly wait!!! :)

I hate it when mothers-in-law say "Wait until they're teenagers." Never happens to me tho.

I found that kids' behavior patterns change every six months. Just when you get it all figured out....
We've all been there. It's great fodder for that book you will write someday and become obnoxiously rich from.

(Another good word - "mumatic". Wearing a mumu.
As in I am "mumatic" today.)

I will call it Chicken Soup for Janet's Soul.

LOL! I'm honored! I'll help with marketing. One-percent of the royalties will be fine. :)
