Not So Good

Someone told me I must be a good baker due to the mulberry pie post. I cracked up. I mean, my children get 3 squares and countless snacks a day but I do not consider myself a good cook.

Need proof? Well there is this, and this and don't forget this. Oh, and my personal favorites, this and this.

Thanks for the morning laugh! I had missed a couple of those earlier posts.

I got the CCR reference (old, too.)
But what is a softener bottle? Does it blow up, too?

Hilarious about the rolls/biscuits that exploded onto the conveyer belt.

That is hilarious!

You know, Mark's mom is very often my ironing lady. I actually like ironing, but it usually doesn't make it to the top of the list. So if she babysits for us, I always have to make sure there's some ironing.

Carla,
I (thought I) posted on this last night, but it's not here???

Very funny looking at your old posts. I thought I was the only person who stabbed the macaroni box with a knife. Sometimes I try to use only my thumb and it's a special treat when it opens.

None of your past stories were baking episodes, so I think you can still be considered a good baker although it would be more accurate to say you are a good pastry chef.

Have a great day.

There is a difference between baking and cooking?!
