We tend to keep a close eye on Joshua's grooming habits. He doesn't. It is a struggle to do the basics, but I know that Middle School peers will take care of most of those issues for us. Yesterday I commented on his hair as it looked like he had worked on it a bit and even parted it on the side.
Mom "Joshua your hair looks nice. I like what you did with it."
Joshua "Oh, I just stuck my head out the van window when Dad was driving fast."

Hey...that's how I do my hair. Think of the money you are saving on various gels and junk like that! Wind power!
It's hard to do that in February, though.
