I have had 3 sickos for the last couple of days. Fevers, throwing up and 3 quiet lumps on the couch. I am happy to report that they must be feeling better because the tantrums, the whining, the fussing and fighting have resumed!
FYI
This kind of flu has lasted around 3 days in this house. It is NOT swine flu.(Or is it now called The Flu Formerly Known As Swine?)A nurse called me back to say that SF is more upper respiratory with a lot of coughing. Also there are no confirmed cases in our immediate area.

If it hadn't been for marinating myself inside and out with antiviral essential oils, this little piggy surely would have gone coughing and gagging all the way to the clinic last month. I haven't experienced a respiratory bug like that for almost 10 years. CONFIRMED cases of Name That Flu can only happen when people go to the doctor. Then he/she can bill them for confirming that indeed they DO feel like a pile of pig poo. We could all be surrounded by some form of the said crud and still survive. In my opinion, all the pandemic hoopla churned out by the media is such massive overkill.
No swine flu? Darn! Well, one can always hope for the bird flu or some other animal-like disease! Ostrich flu.....how about that?! :) Or better yet, EMU FLU!!! Run that together and it sounds really funny! :) EMUFLU!!! LOL I know...I'm weird. :)
