By "your person," do you mean your butler, your chef or your chauffeur? And why would you feel like you were wearing a tick suit if it were crawling on one of your servants?
I have not found ticks on any of my persons, and would fire them immediately if I did.

You could also just get a deer tick off with your thumbnail like if you think it's just a scab on your 6 year old. But I recommend Kara Jo's method.
