We don't do the Easter Bunny in our home. The most important aspect of our faith is that JESUS LIVES! We celebrate that fact this weekend! We were driving around yesterday and there was a dead rabbit in the road. Josh saw it. I saw it.
Mom"Josh, is that the Easter Bu..."
Josh "cough He's Road Kill cough cough."
Mom "Poor Easter Bunny."

LOL Kristi!!
Amen, Carla!!! We don't do the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, tooth fairy, etc. either (well, no lost teeth yet for my kids anyways lol). The world commercializes enough. I'm not going to do it too! I like to keep the focus where it belongs. We don't do bunnies and eggs and all that. The only thing I have is a "resurrection eggs" thing that I got one year - but I forgot to get it out and show it to them (and they don't really pay attention when I try to tell them what each treasure in the egg is about yet anyways). Kudos to you Carla!! :) OXOXOXO
Oh, and we were at the mall yesterday and I was just rolling my eyes at all the people in line to visit the "bunny". Kind of made me think of "the bunny song" from Veggie Tales. LOL Though, I don't love the bunny. The kids noticed it, but didn't know what the bunny was there for.
Kristi - funny one! hee hee
I was so proud last year when someone said "What did the Easter Bunny bring you?" and Boo had this totally blank look on his face. ;-)
No pictures from the mall of Easter Bunny or Santy Claus. The cherubs are so deprived.
Black Belt Oma,
I love it when some cashier asks ours if they have been good for Santa. They usually tell her there is no such thing!! :)
