The Ring

Yes! Sarah came home with a ring from Cam yesterday! It is official. Engaged at 8, married at 9. I can hardly believe it myself and am searching for just the right Mother of the Bride dress. I think green would be quite nice. There are invitations, flowers and a cake to order. Why am I blogging?!

I don't know if we will ever get to a real ceremony. Sarah lost the ring this morning.

Green makes my eyes "pop" I've been told. :)

Oh, no, she lost the ring?? Poor Cameron. I hope he had it insured.

Rich says that he thinks Pat stole the ring and he would have done the same thing.

One of the boys will find it. And wear it.

I stole the ring, ground it up, and sprinkled it over my cereal this morning.

I hope that you added an a loud Hulkian growl, Pat.

Ron, you kill me. I can hear the banjo a playin'.

In this case, I think it wouldn't be just the green that's makin' your eyes "pop!"

You all are hilarious.
Oh, Kristi, so Pat will be wearin' green, too, then.
You guys will look so nice.

Do ya need a seamstress? My folks are from Arkansas, and I knows how to make a Fancy gown!
Got any feed sacks laying 'round?

I don't know which is funnier, your post, or the comments!

I remember my heart skipping a beat when DD would come home at that age with talk of boyfriends and who she was going to marry. Funny, but in kind of a scarey way! If it's any consolation, she waited mannnny years before she actually did it. So, you might want to make sure that dress you're buying is a classic that won't go out of style! :)
