No Baby

There was a wee baby in the row in front of us in church today. Oh my. The sweet faces and noises he made and the adorable babyness of that little boy!! I could hardly concentrate on the sermon. I turned to my husband. He said, "No."

I do this to my husband all the time.
If it were up to me I'd have a whole herd of kids!

You could call him Gavin?

I heard that almost exact conversation a couple weeks ago.
A brand new baby boy was being carried out of the service, due to crying, and I heard the man behind me whisper,"Just one more?" To which his wife loudly whispered,"NO!"

I love the 18 kids and counting - the hubby says that it's up to his WIFIE as to WHEN to say NO! ;)
They are a blessing! If you still can - GO FOR IT! ;)

I have a feeling that will be me in a year...giving the puppy dog eyes, that is.

What's the Gavin thing all about?

Ok, i haven't chimed in on this one... but here was a day-maker.
I saw a mom who works in the schools whom I first met when my oldest (12) was in kindergarten. I don't get this anymore, but she did ask if I was going to have another. Sigh. I would love to, I told her. But - what Carla said - as well as - "I'm old," I told her. She looked blankly at me. I clarified, "I'm going to be 44."
"You don't look it AT ALL," is what made my day.

Carla, I think I'm like you - don't look too much older than 18!

bwahahahhhhhahahahahahhahhah! (laughter at myself, not at you =D)

Yes, so easy to get baby fever. If only they would stay babies!! Dealing with a 3 year old diva like mine is always a good antidote. :)
