Thanks - so many peoples forget about this one thing. There are only 52% that did! 47-48% DISAGREED!

Bevy, I don't think that's where she was going...
OMS Think of that--58 million. that's more than 3 times NYC and LA combined.

I guess I was going in the direction that we are all supposed to feel united by this election. Not feeling the love from the Prez. Not feeling the "reaching across the aisles" yet.

The Associated Press had some Playful Banter on this topic: Obama Breaks from Bush, Avoids Divisive Stands.

I suspect the populace with be feeling less Playful about BHO in a couple of months.

just because 47% or 48% didn't vote for barrack doesn't mean they didn't support him. Some people didn't vote because they were lazy or for other reasons.

I didn't vote for him. I didn't support him. I can't speak for the other 50+ million.

I think it's hilarious that the mainstream media reported over the weekend that he had a 68% approval rating...he hadn't even been in office for a week!

Whew, Carla, you knew this would get comments, didn't you?? ;-)

You know, let's not get cynical. Elections usually aren't landslides. Bush barely "won" by a squeak too, if you remember. Let's try to make things better, instead of picking things apart and forgetting that God is sovereign.

I am lamenting the direction that our country will now be heading under this president. I am sickened and saddened for our country. God is still in control. He is still sovereign. I have not ceased praying and will continue to fight for the lives of the unborn which our president deems unimportant. BHO will promote abortion!!!

I'm with you, Carla. Tired of concern and loving disagreement being labeled as fear. Tired of being judged as having forgotten God's sovereignty because of expressing valid concern and disappointment. God IS sovereign. We do have great reason for hope. And that hope is not in humans or policies. But concern and sadness for what is going on is not mutually exclusive of that hope. Clinging, with you, to Love as the bottom line...

Carla, i'm talking about the people that didn't vote PERIOD!

I agree with blackbelt... Bush also did not win the popular vote if you remember.

Also did George Bush make abortion illegal? He did not.

I truly believe that abortion will be illegal someday even with a democratic president.

PS: Not trying to start a fight. I heart Carla and this blog!

No fighting here, Jana. :)

I am not sure what to say about the people that didn't vote.

I am tired. Tired of the liberal media trying to paint Obama as the man for ALL of us when his agenda is crystal clear. Which is why 58 million people did not vote for him. History will show him to be the most pro abortion president we have ever had. I'm not a fan.

How does one reduce abortion while promoting abortion?

Look at Fourby40 gettin all controversial...:)

Speak your mind, peeps.

Hey, i never said Obama would be the one to illegalize abortion. I just said that i think it will be illegal one day.

PS I am a fairly recent converter of pro-choicism.

I often wonder Jana if that will happen in my lifetime. That Roe V Wade will be overturned. I do believe that it shouldn't matter who is in the White House, there are young women that are pregnant and alone and afraid like I was once and I would hope that we could all reach out to them to offer support. To kill your own child and suffer for years in your own private hell should never be a choice. Hearts can be changed, I know that.

You are prolife now you mean? What changed for you?

I heart Jana.

Yes I am indeed pro-life. Its a long story. Could I have your email address and I can give you the story?
