Trepidation
We do not go out to eat a lot. It can get pricey and there is always that risk of childhood naughtiness and the customary parental humiliation. We have done fast food. Sure, why not? Yesterday we thought a sit down brunch sounded good and went to Perkins. We waited for 15 minutes, were seated and then got busy with coloring, drawing, tic tac toe and hangman. It was great fun! I had to say no to Timmers over something and his whine turned to wail. We beat a hasty retreat but with happy, smiling faces and tummies full of pancakes.

You paid the bill first, right?
I was someplace in the upper U.S. - don't remember where - and my children were about 3 and 1. I was seated in a nice restaurant - it was quiet ... we'd been in the car for AT LEAST 6 hours - I was a single mom ... there was a couple seated next to me and I was too tired to quiet my son and my daughter ... at some point shortly into my visit - the people were speaking to the waitress and they were getting up and moving to another table ... I quipped to them - 'CAN'T TAKE IT HUH?' :) They probably NEVER had kids!
Kristi,
Bill was paid in full. Throw some bills at em and get in the car, honey!
Bevy,
I am tired after reading that.
