My husband teaches classes where we worship so I bring 3 out of 4 cherubs to sit with me. I give them all the standard speech before getting out of the car. "When we stand, stand. When we sing, sing. When we pray, pray. When we sit, sit." Very spiritual.
Last Sunday I brought Tims to the nursery and ushered everyone else in to sit down. I might as well have said this in the car, "When we stand, sit. When we sing, talk. When we pray, color. When we sit, lay down. "

Yup, sounds about right. The lay down thing, definitely. If we're lucky our youngest falls asleep on dad's shoulder.
That made me laugh. When I was younger I had a habit of asking my mom how many songs were left before it was time to leave.
You said all those words. You didn't say to listen to them in the same order.
